PSG set to lose star forward in the summer with Real Madrid plotting a world record move

French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain could lose their star attacker Kylian Mbappe this summer with reports in France claiming that there is a big possibility he will join Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old French forward looks pretty much ready to move on from the French capital club after three successful years at Parc des Princes.

The World Cup winner still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his contract with the French champions and PSG are determined to get at least another year out of him.

It was reported for some time that PSG will have to part ways with either of Neymar or Mbappe in the summer. And, they were reportedly willing to let the former leave as the Brazilian is strongly linked with a return to Barcelona.

But, it seems that Mbappe could be on his way out as well with Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid preparing a move for the 21-year-old prodigal talent.

Mbappe is considered the most valuable footballer in the world right now ahead of the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. He is just 21 years of age and already has a resume that most footballers would dream to achieve before hanging up their boots.

He is already a World Cup winner with France and was one of the best players for Les Bleus in the tournament. He has finished in top 10 of the Balon d'Or race in the last three seasons and has the talent to become a serial winner of the much anticipated individual honours in years to come.

According to CIES Football Observatory, the Frenchman is worth £226.2million right now but Real Madrid will have to bid a much bigger amount if they have to make PSG even consider the offer. And, that would make him the most expensive player in the world eclipsing his teammate Neymar.

However, Brazilian midfielder Fabinho, who played alongside Mbappe at AS Monaco and remains a very close friend of the wonderkid, is desperate for the striker to join him at Liverpool instead.

Liverpool have also been linked with the player on a number of occasions and even though the Reds have the cash to splash as well, it is unlikely that they will make such an astronomical bid for the striker.
