UFC 268 event: Kamaru Usman vs Colby Covington 2 Fight Prediction | PPV Preview

Coming November 6th is the UFC 268 event, where we have 2 World Title fights and one major Lightweight clash. 

All the fighters in the main card are stars but the last 3 bouts are surely going to be the most entertaining ones. 

Kamaru Usman goes up against his arch-rival, Colby Covington, and Zhang Weili will be looking towards taking her belt back from Rose Namajunas. 

The event right before the main events might be up for the fight of the year as Justin Gaethje is fighting Michael Chandler, who’s never lost a non-title fight in his career.

Usman vs Covington 2

It won’t be the first time that these two are going to fight against each other as the two faced each other back in 2019. 

It was one of the most challenging fights for Usman but he secured the title defense after knocking out Covington in the final round of the match. Covington believes the stoppage was early and that he was winning the fight. 

While we aren’t sure if Covington was winning but it was surely an entertaining fight. Ever since the bout, Usman has fought thrice whilst Covington has only fought once but he did win against former Welterweight world champion, Tyron Woodley. 

Prediction

Usman and Covington go at it for the second time for the UFC Welterweight World Championship. 

We believe that Usman should be able to get the victory again, he might rely on his wrestling more this time and try to take the unanimous Decision. 

Of course, Usman is capable of getting the knockout win but he might be thinking of playing it safe this time. 

Namajunas vs Zhang 2

It was an upset win for Thug Rose the last time she went against China’s Zhang Weili. Thug was a clear underdog in the match but still won with a knockout in the first round itself. Zhang Weili is one of the most skilled fighters amongst the females in the UFC. 

Both the fighters are going to face each other right after their last match, which took place in April of 2021. 

Prediction

Knowing how technical Zhang Weili is, she might be able to regain her status as the UFC Strawweight World Championship belt. 

Zhang Weili will look forward to working on her defense and counter-attack as she cannot afford to take careless blows from Thug Rose like last time. For the prediction of this bout, Zhang Weili should get the victory.

Gaethje vs Chandler

Gaethje is back after his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov back in 2020. Justin believes that Chandler wasn’t deserving of the title shot against Charles Oliveira. 

Both the fighters last fought in a World Title fight and lost. So this might be up there for the fight of the night. We can expect anything to happen in this bout. 

Prediction

Both fighters are extremely aggressive, with high power and technical abilities. It will be interesting to see who takes the ring control, and the winner may depend on this alone. 

From the level of experience in the biggest stage, Justin Gaethje should be able to get the knockout victory against Mike Chandler.
