Denmark 2022 World Cup Guide | All you need know
1992 European Champions Denmark will come as dark horses in the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 as they prepare for the showpiece event in Qatar. While Denmark are not the favorites to win the World Cup, they still have the firepower to go all the way, and won’t come as surprise if they make it to the final four.
The likes of Christian Eriksen, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, and others bring their A-game to the table, they will be able to beat any side in the world. With their impeccable qualification record, it now remains to be seen will the Danish side go all the way or not.
Qualification campaign for Denmark
Denmark had the joint second-best defense in the Qualification campaign as they conceded only three goals. Interestingly they kept clean sheets in eight of the 10 matches in the qualifying round and their only defeat came at Hampden Park when Scotland beat them convincingly in November 2021. The team has been involved in rollercoaster affairs in recent times and made it to the semifinals of the Euro 2020 despite losing two games in the group stage.
