Novak Djokovic has won the Nitto Open Title 5 times in his illustrious career.
The Serb has qualified for the season finale on 14 occasions (2007-2016, 2018-2021). He beat Nikolay Davydenko for the 2008 title in Shanghai and clinched four consecutive crowns at the O2 in London between 2012-2015.
Djokovic, who did not qualify in 2017 after suffering a right elbow injury, has compiled a 38-16 record at the prestigious tournament.
Casper Ruud will make his debut at the Nitto ATP 2021 Finals after clinching his spot on Thursday at the Rolex Paris Masters.
The 22-year-old is the first Norwegian to earn a spot in the season finale, to be played at the Pala Alpitour in Turin from 14-21 November.
